The Winchester 4ft x 4ft (1.22m x 1.22m) Small Playhouse is a great value children’s playhouse. The Georgian style windows and pretty flower design on the door add interest to the already quaint tongue and grooved timber playhouse. Solid sheet roofing and flooring enhance stability. Safety features include smooth edges and a 12mm gap around the door so your children's little fingers don’t get trapped, plus, it is pre glazed with styrene for their safety, as it is considered to be a safer alternative to glass. This playhouse is certified by the TUV European Toy safety Standards, so you can be assured that your children will be safe.
As with all wooden buildings, it is recommended that you treat the timber with a high quality timber preservative. This will retain longevity of the building so you can maximise its use for many years to come.

Playhouse Treatment (see Construction Explained)
Winchester playhouses are not supplied pre-painted but they do come treated with a water based treatment to protect the timber in transit. For the full 10 year anti-rot guarantee to apply, you will need to treat your building with a high quality, spirit-based preservative when you construct it, and reapply as necessary.
Tongue and groove
Tongue and groove relates to a joining method where a one panel slots into another, forming a weatherproof joint for your Winchester 4ft x 4ft (1.22m x 1.22m) Small Playhouse.
Apex roof

Easy to build,very good quality, includes excellent fittings pack, slightly let down by vague instructions that vary from contents, and poor quality roofing felt (not confined to this product). Overall very good and looks great assembled and painted. Finished mine with antique pine stain outside, white eggshell inside and red door/white trim outside. My wife is a childminder and the kids in her care give a great thumbs up!! Recommended.
